Info Post
I am not even sure of the significance of not making it in Virginia. What are they all going to drop out but Romney and Rupaul?

I doubt it.

If not, doesn't Newt not making it make Hot Air's Allahpundit look ridiculous for his "thinning the herd" comment, when he heard that Bachmann failed to gain the signatures to qualify?

Did he, in his enthusiasm to write off Santorum and Bachmann, overstate the importance of Virginia in the primary process?

I really don't know.

Which is it? Has the herd been thinned down to just two, or has Allahpundit dropped his pants and shown his ass?

Again.

"RICHMOND, VA: Newt Gingrich will not be on the ballot for Virginia's Republican presidential primary after failing to gain the required 10,000 signatures to qualify, the Republican Party of Virginia announced early Saturday.

"After verification, RPV has determined that Newt Gingrich did not submit required 10k signatures and has not qualified for the VA primary," the party said on its Twitter feed just after 2:30am local time."
